Professor Dal Pubel is an expert in Conflict Resolution and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), blending practical experience with cutting-edge research. At SDSU, he teaches mediation, arbitration, and ADR courses for the International Security and Conflict Resolution and Political Science departments. He is a member of the International Council for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and an editorial board member of the European law journal "Consensual Justice."
His collaborations span continents, working with European and American universities, NGOs, and public institutions on innovative educational and research projects. Professor Pubel holds a Ph.D. in Private International Law from the Open University of Catalunya in Spain, a master’s degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Law degree from the University of Bologna, Italy. Driven by a passion for justice, his research and teaching focus on Conflict Resolution, International Conflict Management, ADR, ODR, and ensuring Access to Justice.
