Giulia Corner is a current Ph.D. candidate at the University of California San Diego program in political science. She studies bioethics, disability rights, and the effects of technological and scientific innovation on democracy and political rights. Her current research focuses on applying a disabled perspective to how we might meet the prerequisites for creating democratic structures. In future work, she hopes to explore the ethical implications of an expanded role of technology in the political sphere and society at large, also through a disabled perspective. She holds a master's in political science from UCSD and a B.S. in neuroscience and a B.A. in political science, as well as a minor in law and society, from the University of Southern California.
