Professor Grace Cheng received her Ph.D. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is the Director of the Center for Human Rights in the College of Arts and Letters. She teaches courses on human rights, political violence, and other topics. Dr. Cheng's specialization is in comparative politics, with a focus on Asia. Her interests are in comparative perspectives on human rights, peace, and security, as well as the study of conflict and post-conflict transitions.
